About Bet-Tigrayit
Bet-Tigrayit Cultural Association was founded to preserve and promote the Tigrayit language and the culture of the Tigre people. We are a voluntary, non-profit organization built by and for the diaspora community, with members based in Norway and a shared commitment to passing on our language, traditions, and identity to future generations.
Our Purpose
Our work is rooted in preserving the Tigrayit language and Tigre cultural heritage, strengthening community ties among the diaspora, supporting new generations in building pride in their identity, and using modern technology — including AI — to document and develop our language for the future.
